Where can I go from … Liverpool?

I have lived in, and travelled from, Liverpool all my life. The city is well placed to get almost anywhere within a few hours, be it by Plane, Train or Car.

By Air

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has continued to grow year-on-year recently, with even more airlines making the airport their home. You can now fly direct from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Italy, France, Ireland, Germany and many more European destinations. For a full list of direct flights see Liverpool by Air. Carrier airlines include; EasyJet, Ryanair, Wizz air, Flybe, Aer Lingus and Blue Air.

Long-haul flights to America and many more destinations can be accessed through Manchester Airport, which is 45 minute drive from the city centre. See the Manchester by Air page for a full list of available routes.

By Train

It has never been so easy to travel from Liverpool by train. Virgin Trains operate a direct train to Euston, Central London as well as regular direct services to Stafford and Crewe.

Most of the UK’s major cities can be reached on the Rail Network with only one or two changes, including cities north of border such as Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Merseyrail Northern Line to South Parkway provides a shuttle services to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

By Road

Liverpool City Region is well-connected to the UK motorway network! Nothing to worry about there!
